The Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association has officially launched its Spring Blooms digital passport, and one of the included destinations is right here in Sheboygan County.
The Diamond Vu Agricultural Education Center in Sheboygan Falls is participating in the program that’s designed to open Wisconsin’s greenhouses, gardens and farms into a sort of scavenger hunt for visitors looking for uniquely Wisconsin adventures. Once you’re signed up you can earn points at each floral destination you visit, and those points can be redeemed for a chance to win farm-fresh flowers.
Diamond Vu Ag Education Center is a non-profit dedicated to teaching about farming through a hands-on experience featuring cows, donkeys and bees. Those visiting on their passport can tour the flower fields or learn the art of bouquet making. Diamond Vu is also planning a May 9th plant sale and petting zoo fund raiser to support its mission of strengthening mental health and building real-life and vocational skills for children, families and the community.
The Spring Blooms passport program includes another 19 sites around Wisconsin and is active now through May 31st. More information can be found at wiagtourism.com/passports/
