Lindee Brill, Republican Representative for the 27th Assembly District
Two bills authored by Sheboygan Falls Assembly Representative Lindee Brill are now law in Wisconsin. Assembly Bills 957 and 958 both came out of the Assembly Speaker’s Task Force on Protecting Kids, which is chaired by Brill. The Governor’s signature now establishes and funds four new full-time positions for the Department of Justice’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Two ICAC criminal analysts, one ICAC outreach specialist, and one ICAC digital evidence examiner positions are now on the books.
Brill called the bills, which passed unanimously in both houses in Madison, “…a critical step in the right direction…”, but she said there’s more work to be done, and she remains passionate about the need to defend future generations and protect the innocent of the State of Wisconsin.
