The Sheboygan County Department of Emergency Management is inviting citizens to become trained storm spotters. A free session is being held from 6:30 until 8:30 tonight at the County Transportation Complex on Highway J just west of Highway 67.
There’s no pre-registration required, and those attending will learn about severe weather & weather safety, how to be severe weather-aware, be informed about severe weather watches and warnings, and how to help the National Weather Service as a trained spotter.
Those attending are asked to park on the north side of the building.
