Blizzard Conditions have forced Calumet County authorities to institute a tow ban. With wind-whipped snow still falling, the County Sheriff said early Monday morning that effective immediately, all vehicles in the ditch will remain where they are until conditions improve and the tow ban can be lifted.
The Sheriff advised that if a vehicle is stuck in the roadway – and not in the ditch – citizens are requested to call 911 so the vehicle can be removed as soon as possible.
