LAKE CO., IL (WHBL) – The teenager accused of killing two protesters in Kenosha is challenging extradition from Illinois to Wisconsin. Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested at his home in Antioch, Illinois, a day after the killings last month.
Attorneys for the teen say the extradition challenge involves several complex issues and they need several weeks to prepare. The 17-year-old Rittenhouse attended a hearing via Zoom Friday morning and is due back in court in two weeks.
