Terry Allan Kumrow, 64, of DePere, formerly of Random Lake and Adell, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2026 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Terry was born April 8, 1961 in Sheboygan (town of Sherman, Silver Creek) to Jerome “Jerry” and Geraldine “Gerry” (Gruenewald) Kumrow. Terry graduated from Random Lake High School in 1979. Terry worked as a technician for most of his career, and later as a service writer in motorsports until his illness forced him to retire in 2021.
Terry also worked for USSA (United State Snowmobile Association) and ISR (International Snowmobile Racing) as a Pre-Race and Post-Race Tech Inspector. He helped teach
Terry is survived by his daughter, Abby (Ben) LaFleur of Wrightstown and son Derek (Ashley) Kumrow of Appleton; five grandchildren, Micah (MBB) and Isaiah (MLB) LaFleur and Jameson, Maddox and Owen Kumrow; brother Larry (Marcy Sheets) Kumrow of Hingham, sisters Lenae “Stella” (Alfred “Fritz”) Heimerl of Random lake and Twila Wetor of Cascade; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; his sister-in-law Monica Kumrow and brother-in-law Gary “Goofy” Wetor.
A Memorial Service celebrating Terry’s life will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 28th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 705 Grand Ave Random Lake with Pastor Elizabeth Jaeger officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Silver Creek East Cemetery on Hwy 144.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to be put into an educational fund for Terry’s grandchildren. Mail memorials
