Proposed limits on the numbers of fowl and other birds kept by residents within the City of Sheboygan have been withdrawn from committee action. The withdrawal was noted in an amended agenda issued for the Licensing, Hearings, and Public Safety Committee meeting scheduled for 4:30 PM Tuesday, March 10th.
The proposed amendment to Section 8-15 of the Municipal Code would add language stating that “No more than four ducks, geese, pigeons, chickens, birds, or other fowl may be kept on any premises within the city at one time.” No other alterations to that section were being considered.
There was no reason for the withdrawal included within the notice from City Hall.
