The City of Sheboygan’s next Comprehensive Plan meeting is just over a week away and city officials are looking for your input! The comprehensive plan outlines the City’s vision for the future and develops a long-range, 20-year plan to reach that vision.
There are several elements covered in the plan including, Community and Neighborhood Development, Public Health and Housing, Parks & Recreation, and Public Utilities just to name a few. Officials say the participation and engagement of community members provides a range of viewpoints, local expertise, and a sense of contribution within the planning process. By getting involved, you provide input for decision-makers to establish strategies that can help shape Sheboygan’s future.
This collaboration results in a more sustainable, equitable, and vibrant community. Two meetings are scheduled– The first meeting will be held March 19th from noon – 2 PM and the second from 5 PM to 7 PM, both at Uptown Social.
