Lakeland University is welcoming three Sheboygan County Scholars to its campus this fall. The three were selected as part of a competitive process and receive a full-tuition scholarship to attend Lakeland.
The three are Bryn Adams and Aaron Cortez, both students at Sheboygan North High School, and Tessa Schmidt of Howards Grove High School.
Adams will bring her varied experiences in leadership roles at Sheboygan North to Lakeland, while studying marketing, especially digital, and plans to play for the muskies women’s basketball team.
Cortez, a 14-time honor roll honoree and member of North’s National Honor Society, currently works in his family home rental business as a manager, and plans to study business and play for the Muskies soccer team.
Schmidt is a member of the National Honor Society, participates in numerous extracurricular and community service activities. Besides aspiring to join the Muskies golf team, she aims to major in exercise science and an eventual stint at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa
