If you have an idea that bolsters the City of Manitowoc as a visitor destination, there may be money available to help reach your goal.
The City of Manitowoc’s Department of Tourism, along with the Room Tax Commission and the Visit Manitowoc Board are offering the “Discover Manitowoc Grant Program.” An event or project that’s already well-organized, attracts overnight visitors to that city and which could benefit from additional funding for marketing efforts, may be a good candidate for the program.
All awards depend upon available funding and there’s a three-year funding limit. The deadline to apply is this Sunday, and you can get more information or apply online through this link.
