Although the risks of fog and freezing drizzle later on Thursday has receded a bit, National Weather Service forecasters still expect light snow accumulations from Thursday morning through the early afternoon, and on Friday morning when a wintry mix should dominate precipitation.
First up – quick moving snow showers moving west to east on Thursday morning, amounting to 1-2 inch accumulations in most of Sheboygan County. With the 6 AM – 12 Noon hours pegged for accumulating snow, morning and midday commutes could be impaced by slippery roads. Also, spotty freezing drizzle is possible as snow leaves later on Thursday, but latest information suggests no widespread or long-lasting icing.

NWS Graphic
Another round of snow and possible freezing drizzle is expected from midnight Friday morning through 3 PM, again threatening possible slick spots during the morning commute. However, snow accumulations for now aren’t expected to add more than 1 inch.
