A Chef at Lakeshore College in Cleveland has been honored by the American Association of Community Colleges. Amanda Weber, the Culinary Arts Program coordinator and instructor at Lakeshore College was named among the AACC’s 2026 Dale P. Parnell Distinguished Faculty. Weber becomes the college’s eighth consecutive faculty member recognized since the program’s founding in 2018.
Chef Weber is a Culinary Institute of America Graduate whose results have been enjoyed not only at Destination Kohler’s five-star resort, but also as far away as New York City.
The award, named in honor of former AACC President and CEO Dale P. Parnell, was established to recognize individuals from around the country making a difference both in, and outside the college classroom. Weber will be recognized in a ceremony taking place in Seattle, Washington on April 12.
