The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Offices have a death investigation underway.
The Sheriff’s Office said that they were called to conduct a welfare check on a residence in northern Manitowoc County. When they arrived shortly after 10 AM on Tuesday, they found both an adult male and adult female deceased inside the residence.
Autopsies have been scheduled for later this week, and with the investigation ongoing, no names have been released pending notification of the next of kin.
The Sheriff did assure that there is no evidence of any danger to the community or the public. The also requested that anyone that can offer information concerning the case to call Detective Nate Steber directly at (920) 683-6170, or the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office at (920) 683-4201.
