The chance that eastern Wisconsin from Sheboygan County on to the south could experience a lake effect snow event from Friday through Saturday is coming into clearer focus for National Weather Service forecasters.
As of Wednesday afternoon it still appears possible that these lakeshore counties could experience snowfall from early Friday morning, and again Saturday morning through the afternoon. Uncertainty abounds when it comes to exact locations and amounts, but if any of the predicted bands of snow come onshore, at least a few inches could accumulate beneath their path.

The most likely impacts are expected to relate to slippery roads during both the morning and evening commutes on Friday.
