The name of the person who was killed in a Saturday night shooting in Sheboygan has been identified by friends.
Reports in social media say that 19-year-old Joseph Torres was shot around 8 PM Saturday in a home in the 1300 block of South 10th Street. Another victim, an as-yet-unidentified 18-year-old woman, survived and is being treated at a Green Bay hospital. Torres died shortly after being admitted to Aurora Medical Center – Sheboygan County.
Sheboygan Police Department investigators say that the suspects are known to the victims and are still being sought at this time, however they reiterate that there is no ongoing threat to the public pending their apprehension.
