Kohler Police
A suspicious item found in the cart corral in front of the Target Store in the Deer Trace Shopping Center initiated an evacuation of the north end of that complex shortly after 10 AM this Saturday morning.
The Kohler Police Department said that they called in the Milwaukee Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit to manage the removal of the item. Also responding were the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, the Sheboygan Falls Police Department, the Milwaukee Field Office of the FBI, the Kohler Police and Fire Departments and Orange Cross Ambulance.
No further information was released, and the incident remains under investigation.
