Often referred to as an “invisible crime”, the Sheboygan County Human Trafficking Task Force is aiming to shine a light on Human Trafficking through awareness. To that end, the organization is encouraging the public to register for a webinar that’s free, open to all, and provides basic training on both sex and labor trafficking.
The webinar is being presented by the Wisconsin Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force, a joint initiative of the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and the Wisconsin Department of Justice. The two-hour course on Wednesday, January 21st lasts 2 hours, from 1 until 3 PM and will educate participants on what sex and labor trafficking are, what they can look like, and how to connect survivors with resources in Wisconsin.
