Temperatures rising above, then falling below the freezing mark are threatening potential travel trouble this morning.
After yesterday’s thaw, it remained in the mid 30s overnight, but with steadily falling temperatures ahead of sunrise it’s suspected that moist spots on cold roads and areas of standing water could start to freeze.
Sunshine should eventually return temps to the mid 30s today and continue rising overnight when there’s a chance of rain towards morning on Thursday. In the afternoon tomorrow a return to very light snow and temperatures plunging to near 10 above overnight will set the stage approaching the weekend.
