Followers of Lakeland University are remembering Dr. James Crawford, known as “JC” to those who knew him, who passed away on Friday, December 5th.
Dr. Crawford spent thirty years behind stage productions at Lakeland, involving hundreds of student actors following his entry into the faculty in 1977. He retired in 2007 when he was named Professor Emeritus, and in 2012 was inducted into Lakeland’s Fine Arts Gallery of Distinction.
Per his obituary announcement, the family has established the James Crawford Memorial Fund at Lakeland University, and gifts will benefit the John Esch Library. Gifts in Professor Crawfor’s memory can be directed through Lakeland’s website, and noting the James Crawford memorial in comments.
