Organizers are hoping to turn pain into positivity through Pickleball with the 2nd annual Pick-El Ball Tournament and Fundraiser taking place tomorrow, December 6th from 8:30 AM until 4 PM at the Sports Core in Kohler. The tournament observes the memory of Elli Westfall who was lost to depression 11 years ago in November of 2014, and is being hosted by Elli’s friends and family along with Lilly Schroeder, owner of Link Pickleball, and channel marketing manager of Kohler Company.
Schroeder, who was Elli’s best friend, said that “Through celebrating Elli’s life, we hope to bring hope, healing, and a commitment to mental wellness that will resonate across Sheboygan and beyond.”
Through a partner event at Turks & Timbers (Formerly NZ’s Pub & Grill) at 1022 Michigan Avenue in Sheboygan, a portion of the entire day’s proceeds will be donated to the fundraiser.
