(WHBL) – Regardless of how a student may be attending classes, at least two Sheboygan County School Districts are making free meals available to all their students.
The Sheboygan Area School District is offering the free meals to all students in the district for the entire school year. Virtual students will need to pick up their meals after school at either North or South High Schools between 2 and 3:30 PM on scheduled school days, and either the student or an adult may pick them up.
The Plymouth Joint School District is using an extension of the USDA emergency meal program to offer the free meals for all their students until December 31st or until funds run out and the program was made retroactive to September 1st, so no meal charges have been made so far. Pick up in the Hub City is scheduled after each school day for high school students at Plymouth High, while virtual learners and others may pick them up between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Parkview Elementary School.
