A 41-year-old woman serving as a teachers aid in a Fond du Lac parochial school is being charged with multiple counts of the sexual assault of a child.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office said on Wednesday afternoon that an internet tip was first sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip triggered an investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office which developed probable cause, enabling the jailing of the suspect.
The woman was serving as a teachers aid at Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac, however the identified child victim did not attend that school.
No further details will be released until if or when the suspect is charged with a crime, and a criminal complaint is filed with the courts.
