So close to Halloween, an appeal for blood might be taken as just another seasonal feature, but this appeal saves lives.
The American Red Cross is in need of all blood types and is hoping to motivate donors to make an appointment to give the gift of life. As a “thank-you” to those who donate between October 27th and November 16th will receive a $20 e-gift card from a merchant of their choice, plus automatic entry for a chance to win one of three, $5,000 prizes.
