Delores White passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 8, 2025, just a few days before her 90th birthday.
Delores was born at the home of her parents, Paul and Ruth (Fintelmann) Rogge, in Sheboygan on October 12, 1935. At age 17, on April 25, 1953, she married Richard “Dick” White. As co-owner and secretary of White’s Rug and Furniture Cleaners, Delores helped Dick grow a successful business over their 27 years of marriage. They divorced amicably in 1980.
Delores devoted her life to helping others. She went on to work weekends for the City of Sheboygan as police and fire dispatcher. Later, she provided quotes for flooring installation for several other carpet companies. She enjoyed early retirement but found ways to keep busy by managing several rental properties and caring for extended family.
Delores had a deep relationship with her special friend Mark Gabrielse over the years, enjoying time together on their boat.
Delores was proceeded in death by her parents; brother, Robert “Bob” Rogge; sister, Elvira “Vicky” Schrimpf; brother-in-law, Eugene “Stinky” Shrimpf; former husband, Dick White; and special friend, Mark Gabrielse.
Delores is survived by her son, Rich White; daughter-in-law, Christine White; granddaughter, Norah; and sister-in-law, Delaine Rogge. She is further survived by many other relatives.
A private memorial was attended by family, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Delores will be laid to rest at Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Batavia.
The Suchon Funeral Home is assisting the family. For online condolences, please visit www.suchonfh.com.
