A preliminary report suggests that a drive-by shooting resulted in the death of a man in Sheboygan Falls early this morning.
A release issued early this Wednesday afternoon said that police responded to the 600 Block of Monroe Street at 12:08 AM to reports of an individual suffering from a fatal injury. The victim was immediately given medical attention, but did not survive and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Sheboygan Falls Police went only so far as to identify the victim as an “adult male”. Initial investigation shows that the victim was shot by an unknown individual driving in a vehicle described as a “small, dark colored SUV”.
Officers are still actively investigating the incident and still gathering evidence and witness interviews in order to gain more clarity into the circumstances. No suspects have been apprehended so far, and to preserve the integrity of the investigation, there were no immediate plans to release further details.
