Access to the Village of Cedar Grove via Highway 32 from the north has been restored. The Wisconsin DOT has completed culvert replacement that had closed that approximate 6-mile stretch between Highway “V” and Cedar Grove since April, and travel is now open, although the project is not complete.
Four culverts were replaced within that stretch while ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps were installed in the Village. A detour now exists between “V” and Sheboygan Falls while the final box culvert is being replaced, and the entire length of the project still awaits resurfacing with new asphalt; but that process will still allow traffic to flow with lane closures.
The project is expected to take until the end of October to complete.
