Neighboring Manitowoc County is getting festive today as the County Fair gets underway. The annual event is on from today through Sunday on the grounds just north of the I-43/Highways 42 & 151 exit.
Attendees will have the traditional animal exhibits, food on plates and sticks, youth project displays, and carnival rides, too.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office is reminding the public that they’ll be there, too, while also pointing out that they should dress their kids in easy-to-spot clothing, have them carry their home phone number with them, and leave the firearms at home.
Even as the Manitowoc County Fair hits high gear, the final fair of the season – the Sheboygan County Fair – is in final preparations for its run Thursday, August 28th through Labor Day, September 1st.
