A Cedar Grove man sustained serious injuries when he drove into a pickup truck in the Town of Holland.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene on County Road “D” west of Six Mile Road at around 7 AM on Saturday. A preliminary investigation revealed that a westbound pickup truck had stopped in the roadway for a road hazard. The 21-year-old cyclist following the truck failed to stop and slammed into the back of the pickup.
He sustained serious injuries and was flighted via Theda Star helicopter to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee for treatment. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
