MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Vice Presidental candidate Kamala Harris greeted about 40 supporters as she left Monday’s roundtable discussion with Black business leaders in Milwaukee with a plea to get out and vote early.
Harris was seen walking out of the meeting and waiving at the crowd, then removing her mask to remind the supporters about absentee voting.
” I need your help in Milwaukee. OK? We’re going to get this done. Make sure everybody votes early, right? By September 17 you’re gonna get your ballots,” said Harris in a video captured by Axios reporter Alexi McCammond who was embedded with the Democratic Senator for Monday’s visit.

Harris then added a reminder about early voting which opens on October 20th, a date she won’t soon forget because that’s also her birthday.
The General Election proper is November 3rd, but many ballots are expected to be completed long before then as absentee voting continues to shatter records statewide.
