Edwin Earl Krenke, age 85, passed away on May 19, 2025 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
He was born on July 23, 1939 in Sheboygan to the late Arnold and Mildred (Kopitzke) Krenke. On
October 24, 1964, he married the love of his life Caroline at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Together, they raised a son Jonathan.
Eddie loved music and enjoyed playing Tuba with friends in Hingham, Wisconsin. He even had a Polka
band called the Eddie Krenke Orchestra. He was a proud father, supporting his son and his wife’s band
called Leaving the 99, which means that Jesus watches over his entire flock. He was also very involved in
his local community, running a Christian Ministry Booth for over 30 years at the Sheboygan County Fair.
He stayed active, frequently going fishing, hunting, going on weekend drives with his love Caroline.
Eddie was strong in his faith, watching the Jimmy Swaggart Ministry on tv, Bus Ministry through the
Assembly of God in Sheboygan, and teaching special needs children at Sunday School. His son will
always remember his dad as the type of guy who would give the shirt off of his back for strangers, and
always looked for ways to give back. He loved his fur baby Booker, a beautiful yellow lab that was truly
the family dog. The world could use more people like Eddie.
In addition to his parents and parents-in-law, Eddie is preceded in death by his wife Caroline, his sister
Edna Mae Olson, his brothers-in-law James VerGowe and Neil Kirst, and his sister-in-law Judith Lobes.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the
wonderful care and comfort they provided to Eddie and his family.
