Duane A. Timm, 86, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully at his home with his family
by his side on Thursday, May 1, 2025. He was born on February 5, 1939, in Montello to
the late Edward and Clara (Cook) Timm. Duane graduated from Ripon High School
with the Class of 1957.
On October 7, 1966, he was united in marriage to Anita Wightman at Trinity Lutheran
Church in Oshkosh. Together they celebrated 58 years.
Duane had a strong faith and was an active member of The Lutheran Church of Our
Redeemer, serving as President and Treasurer and as an usher for many years.
Duane worked as an accountant for VPI for 28 years before retiring.
Duane was always very active bowling, playing softball and golfing. He loved spending
time Up North with his family and creating many lasting memories with his
grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Anita, children; Teresa (Roger) Sizonen, Stefanie (Alan)
Stuckmann, Darren (Kris) Timm and Roberta (Charles) Schwartz, eleven grandchildren;
Duane (Kayla) Stuckmann, Tyler (Lenora) Stuckmann, Allyson (Zach) Sweet, Ryan
(fiancée Star) Sizonen, Joshua (fiancée Shelby) Sizonen, Cara Schwartz, Kiley Timm,
Carson Schwartz, Regan Schwartz, Sadie Timm and Riley Schwartz, also twelve great-
grandchildren, his sisters; Marilyn Henning and Shirley (Bob) Schroeder, and sister-in-
law Beverly Timm. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends. Duane was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joyce (Harry) Hein,
brothers, Robert (Helen) Timm and Ronald Timm, and brothers-in-law, Gordon Henning
and Joseph Erdman.
Per Duane's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at
a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice
in Duane's name.
The family would like to thank the staff at Prevea Health, Sharon S. Richardson
Community Hospice, the staff at Lakehouse and their large extended family at Our
Redeemer Lutheran for all their care, compassion and support.
