The Wisconsin Department of Ag, Trade and Consumer Protection has announced the members of the sixth Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council, one of whom hails from the City of Sheboygan.
Alison Gartman of Sheboygan is one of fifteen appointees who were selected through a competitive review process, based upon their application including a brief essay and a one-minute video. Council members will serve for one year, concluding in May of 2026.
Gartman and her fellow members serve during their senior year of high school, participating in a virtual session each month of the school year to listen to presentations, engage in discussions, and connect with professionals across the agriculture industry. Council members will receive a certificate at the end of their term.
