A Celebration of Life will be at later date for Billie Ray Mathison, age 66, of Sheboygan passed away on
March 14, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.
Billie was born on August 26, 1958 to Dallas and Madelyn (Williams) Frye in Melbourne, FL. She grew up
Ocala, FL and moved to LaSalle, IL in 1977 where she met Archie Mathison. They were united in
marriage on August 5, 1977 in Ottowa County, IL. Together they lived in Neenah, WI, Cambridge, OH,
Columbia, MO, and the last eight years in Sheboygan, WI. Billie worked most of her life in retail
management. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandchildren, boating, and motorcycle
rides. Billie was caring and generous. God led a lot of people to her who were hurting. She was a great
mentor and put everyone else before herself. Billie will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Billie is survived by her husband, Archie, Sr. of Sheboygan; children, Nancy Mathison of Sheboygan
Falls, and Archie, Jr. Mathison of Sheboygan; siblings, Sandra Gerald, Sherry Hillebrandt, Phillip Frye,
Danny Frye, and Phillip Williams; grandchildren, Tyrese, Nicholas, JJ, and Isabella, also known as
grandmas “Bella”; and one great grandson, Jude. Preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Vicki
Hose.
