A prominent actor in the Sheboygan County public service community has died. 59-year-old Mark Mancl was a member for over 30 years with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, and rose to the rank of Detective during his employment there. He had also served on the Board of Directors for the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation, as well as that of the Sheboygan Area School District.
Mancl’s obituary states that he passed away on Saturday from natural causes secondary to alcoholism, and the family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity supporting addiction, recovery and education. A private service will be held, with arrangements by The Zimmer Funeral Home.
