Mark Allen Mancl, born on November 12, 1965, passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of
59 from natural causes secondary to alcoholism.
Mark is survived by his four children, Anna Mancl, Erin (Sam) LeRoy, Luke Mancl, and Mia
Mancl; his ex-wife, Amy (Timm) Mancl; his sister, Carissa (David) Ullrich; numerous aunts,
uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss his presence dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary (Levendoske) Mancl, who he
cherished deeply.
Mark dedicated over 30 years of his life to serving his community as a member of the
Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department.
In addition to his career in law enforcement, Mark was a dedicated member of the Sheboygan
Area School District School Board, where he served for many years. A highlight of his service
was the honor of presenting his children with their high school diplomas, a moment he truly
treasured.
Outside of his work, Mark was an avid sports fan, with a particular love for baseball. He spent
many hours fishing with his son Luke. He also enjoyed playing poker and golfing.
The family will hold a private celebration of Mark's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity supporting addiction
recovery and education.
Though his relationships were complicated at times, Mark was a beloved father, brother, and
friend. Mark will be deeply missed, but his memory will remain in the hearts of his family and
friends.
