Some people trying to contact Sheboygan County administrative offices, as well as some carrier-based 911 services, are having problems getting through. The issues were noted shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday, with social media and public alert announcements that are automatically distributed to cell phone users going out by 2:30.
The messages advised that emergencies should still be addressed first through the 911 system. If that doesn’t succeed, then phone 920-547-0081 for a response.
The Emergency Communications Center said that AT&T troubleshooters were on the case, with hopes that it will be resolved as soon as possible.
