Once again, National Weather Service forecasters in Milwaukee are sending out a precautionary note for the chance of slippery roads in parts of southeastern Wisconsin on Friday morning. Light freezing drizzle is being pointed out as a potential cause of the slick conditions, and indications are that if Sheboygan County should experience the glazing in question, it would occur between 8 and 10 a.m., following an opening act of light snow showers and flurries near sunrise amounting to between a trace and a tenth of an inch. Light mixed precipitation may end the event by 10 or 11 a.m., with skies gradually becoming mostly sunny during the afternoon.
The weekend forecast indicates sunshine and upper 20s on Saturday, and another chance of snow by midnight into Sunday, with accumulations up to an inch-and-a-half by Sunday night.
