SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation has named Brian Doudna as its new Executive Director. The selection was announced Tuesday by SCEDC Chair Gary Dulmes, who said the move came “with great pleasure and excitement,” as Doudna “has extensive experience in the economic development field,” and “strong collaboration and strategy skills that will support our communities, businesses, entrepreneurs, residents and organizational initiatives.”
Doudna comes to Sheboygan County after six successful years as the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Economic Development Association. He’d also run county-wide Economic Development Corporations for over twenty years including in the Eau Claire and Portage areas.
Doudna, who said that Sheboygan County was the one location in Wisconsin where he’d always wanted to live and work, takes his position on October 7th. He replaces Joe Sheehan, who retires after leading the SCEDC since 2018.
