
Jane M. Binversie, 74, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on
December 5, 2024. Jane was born on July 20, 1950 in Sheboygan to the late Sylvester and Ruth
(Schreiber) Casper.
On September 20, 1969, Jane united in marriage to Ronald Binversie. Together they celebrated 54 years
of marriage before he preceded her in death earlier this year on February 27, 2024.
Up until her illness, Jane enjoyed watching sports and going on casino trips with Ron.
Jane held various jobs throughout her years, but her most important job was taking care of her husband
and children. She will be remembered for the love she gave, especially with her friendly hugs and fist
bumps.
She is survived by her children, Brian (Heidi) Binversie, Deborah (Scott) Long, Brenda (Jim) Heinen and
Diane (Jon) Hoffman; 9 grandchildren Becca (Bruce) Ferris, Casandra (Ryan Hassell) Long, Samantha
(Adam) Schneider, Andrea (Pablo) Alvarez, Lauren (Dakota) Hudson, Taylor (James) Rudlaff, Jacob
(Becky) Bellmore, Brianna (Michael Roland) Garbe and Conner (Allie Smidt) Hoffman; 13 great-
grandchildren and another arriving very soon; three sisters, Judy Peter, Mary (Dennis) Dedering and Ann
(Greg) Behr; two brothers, Paul (Sue) Casper and Tom (Ryan) Casper; and 2 sisters-in-law, Donna Casper
and Cathy Casper; and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Ruth Casper; siblings Rachel, Kathy, Joseph,
Kenneth, Wayne and Donald.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and
Jane’s caregiver Suzanne Knickelbein for their support and care.
Private funeral services will be held with family.
