Fire consumed a barn in northern Sheboygan County on Thursday night. The fire struck shortly after 6:30 on Willow Road about two miles northwest of the Village of Johnsonville. Reports posted on social media indicate that a barn on the property was fully engulfed in flames and collapsing.
Initial response came from departments as far away as Kiel, Kohler and Cascade, with an eventual fifth alarm pulling in more crews from as distant as Adell, Chilton, Valders and Greenbush.
While there were no official reports issued as of this morning, social media once again suggested that the property houses a dog kennel, but that no animals were hurt.
