Vernon Paul Musil, 77, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay.
Vern was born to Robert and Lillian (Burkart) Musil on June 21, 1947, in Sheboygan. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1965. Vern volunteered to serve in the US Marine Corps from 1965-1969, serving in two combat tours during the Vietnam War.
Vern was a proud employee of Kohler Company, working in the Brass Division until his retirement in 2009.
He was an avid Packers and Brewers fan and a computer hobbyist. Vern enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with his grandchildren more than anything.
Vern is survived by his children, Angela (Christopher) Duchow, Justin (Nicole) Musil; grandchildren, Carsten Musil, Isabelle Duchow, Layna Musil, and Kinsley Musil; brother, Kenneth (Lynn) Musil of Delaware.
He was preceded in death by his former spouse, Mari Clark; parents; brothers, Orville, Leland, and Donald Musil.
A funeral service to celebrate Vern’s life will be held at Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 12:00pm. He will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service.
