On November 11, 2024, Clinton William Lade suddenly “shuffled off this mortal coil, run
down the curtain, and joined the bleedin’ choir invisible.”
Clinton was born in 1960 to Ronald and Joan (Mehlos) Lade. He was baptized, and
lived nearly his whole life in Plymouth, WI. He went to St. John Lutheran School and
graduated from Plymouth Comprehensive High School in 1978.
In 1990, he married Rose Klemme and they had 4 remarkable children. He worked as a
printer and held other various jobs in West Bend and Plymouth. He and the family often
enjoyed time at the family cottage in Florence, WI. He also enjoyed trips to museums
and school events with his kids.
Clint was dedicated to service in various roles at St. John Lutheran Church and School,
including mission trips and youth gatherings, he was a school board member, a part of
the fellowship committee, and was most recently the Food Services Manager at the
school.
Just as the pandemic started, in 2020, he married Darcie Laack-Lade.
Clint was a master of trivia and games of strategy. He was one of the original basement
Dungeons and Dragons nerds. He rocked the best t-shirts. He loved music in all forms,
especially live music and concerts. When sharing about meaningful songs or bands, he
would tear up. He also was the king of matching movie quotes or song lyrics to any
situation. He was an avid reader, a lifelong cat lover, and was sometimes tolerant of
dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Darcie, his children: Warren, Guenevere, and Rhiannon
Lade, all of Plymouth, and Myles (Elizabeth) Lade of Wrightstown, WI; one brother,
Martin (Spring) Lade of Plymouth and one sister Lora Ann (special friend: Joel Mulder),
also of Plymouth. He leaves other relatives and many friends, including a lifelong friend
Amy Scheidel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and many aunts and uncles.
Following Clinton’s wishes, visitation will be held on Friday (November 15, 2024) at St.
John Lutheran Church in Plymouth from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM; with a memorial service
to follow at 1:00 PM. Rev. John Schultz will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Clinton’s name.
The Suchon Funeral Home is assisting the family. For online condolences, please visit
