Sheboygan County voters cast a variety of opinions when it comes to spending on school districts, but largely agreed with state voters on the one question floated throughout Wisconsin.
That question was whether Wisconsin should allow only US Citizens to participate in state and local elections, and Sheboygan County agreed to approve the proposal 48,907 to 14,156.
Village of Waldo residents want their millpond rebuilt, voting to approve that 205-101.
The Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District will get the money it wanted for school buildings 1,447-1,241.
For those Sheboygan County residents living within the Kiel Area School District, a rejection of the spending referendum was given with a vote of 239-77.
The Sheboygan Area School District will be rebuilding the Urban and Farnsworth Middle Schools after voters approved the proposal 19,230-10,099.
Sheboygan Falls School District residents had two proposals on the ballot, and both were rejected; Question 1 by a vote of 3,792-3,622, and Question 2 with 4,071 “No” votes to 3,207 “Yes”.
