Jeanette Reinbacher, age 91, entered into the Lord’s arms on November 4, 2024. She was born
on February 20, 1933 in Sheboygan to the late Arthur and Jessie (Wilhelm) Magruder. The
family lived in Missouri from 1946 until their return to Sheboygan in 1952. She met the love of
her life Kurt Reinbacher, and they were married from 1956 until Kurt’s passing in 2008.
Together they raised two daughters in the Sheboygan area.
Jeanette loved to travel with her family. They will always remember the yearly trips to the
Northwoods, especially in the Eagle River, Wisconsin area. Many fond memories were shared
on these cherished family gatherings. She was a devoted member of the Evangelical Free
Church for many years, and made many cherished friendships there. She loved to read, sew,
and especially enjoyed thrift shopping and finding great deals at garage sales. She also had an
amazing work ethic, raising two children, earning her Nursing Assistant Diploma, and then
working at Wigwam Mills for 16 years. Following her retirement at Wigwam, she worked at
Boston Store for 10 years, Festival Foods, and volunteered as a voting pole worker in her
hometown. Above all, Jeanette will be remembered by her family and community as a
beautiful soul that cared deeply for her family, friends and neighbors. The world could use
more people like Jeanette.
Jeanette is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Ed) Wunsch and Jennifer (Dale) Bender, her
grandchildren Nathan, Timothy (Crystal), Heidi, Ryan, Alyssa, and Ty (Becca), and nine great-
grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Cheryl Magruder, special nieces
Sherry and Lila, her cousin Beverly Grube, her great friends Doris Feustel, Mary Ann Felton, and
Mabel Verhaalen, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Kurt, her sisters
Violet Lewis and Emma Skaggs, and her brothers Arthur and Clarence Magruder.
The family would like to thank Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Pine Haven
Assisted Living Facility for their amazing care and compassion.
