An investigation is underway to determine the cause of a fire that struck early this Monday morning, about a half mile west of Parnell Tower in the Town of Mitchell. Sheboygan County Emergency Dispatch got the 911 call at 2:40 a.m. A resident on Woodside Road reported being awakened by a loud noise, and found a semi cab he’d parked in his yard fully engulfed in flames. Before the fire could be extinguished, the flames damaged an empty trailer connected to the truck, and siding on a nearby building was melted.
The Sheriff reported that there were no injuries, and they’re now investigating to figure out how the blaze began.
