The public will have the chance to attend two candidate forums hosted by the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce in the coming weeks, with the first held this Friday.
The October 25th forum will be a luncheon at Pine Hills Country Club from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. US Senate Candidate, Republican Eric Hovde will make his presentation at noon, and Candidate for the US 6th Congressional District, Democrat John Zarbano, will address the luncheon at 12:30. Their opponents, Senator Tammy Baldwin and Congressman Glenn Grothman respectively, declined to attend the event. Reservations are required and there is a cost of $35 for Chamber members and $40 for non-members, lunch included.
On Friday, November 1st, the Chamber will host candidate forums for Assembly Districts 25, 26, 27 and 59 in their conference room. One hour of questions and answers, moderated by Deidre Martinez, is scheduled for each contest beginning at 12:30 p.m., and concluding at 4:30. There’s no charge for that event, but as in the luncheon, pre-registration is required and no walk-ups will be allowed. Here’s the schedule for that event:
From 1:30 – 2:30pm, in Assembly District 26th both Joe Sheehan ( D) and Amy Binsfeld (R ) will be attending and will present.
