A traffic top in Fond du Lac County on September 15th resulted in the seizure of several different narcotics and other drugs along with the two persons responsible for transporting them.
Sheriff Deputies spotted a vehicle on I-41 with an illegible temporary registration plate and a missing passenger side mirror. K-9 Rip was put to work checking the car and alerted deputies to check further, and 21 individually-packaged grams of black tar heroin were found in a center console. Once the operator, a 47-year-old Milwaukee man, and the passenger, a 34-year-old also of Milwaukee, were arrested and taken to jail, a further search of their persons discovered another 2 grams of cocaine along with psilocybin mushrooms.
The two, both with extensive criminal histories, now face new drug-related charges with repeater modifications.
