The names of those involved in a two-fatality traffic accident near Louis Corners have been released.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased as 72-year-old Kenneth S. Puetz of Kiel. He was driving east on County Highway X at around 5 a.m. last Friday when he and a westbound car driven by 18-year-old Anthony D. Mahloch of Monroe collided head-on near Louis Corners Road. Puetz was declared dead at the scene, while Maloch was flighted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, where life-saving measures were not successful.
