MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers got silenced by the Philadelphia Phillies 5-1 from American Family Field on Tuesday night.
Garrett Mitchell drove in the Brewers’ only run with a triple in the fourth inning.
Frankie Montas got saddled with the loss after giving up three runs on six hits while striking out 10 batters over five-and-two-thirds innings.
Milwaukee has lost two-of-three and remains first in the NL Central at 87-64.
Zack Wheeler got the win after giving up the lone run on four hits while striking out six batters over seven innings.
Bryce Harper blasted a two-run homer while Nick Castellanos went deep with a solo shot. Philly has won three of its last four games and remains first in the NL East at 91-60.
