The identity of a motorcyclist who fled a traffic stop by Sheboygan Police is the subject of a hunt and the SPD is asking for the public’s help. The department didn’t say exactly why the operator was stopped on his white with black Suzuki sport bike, however the cycle was reported to be without a license plate and had a loud exhaust, likely leading to the incident.
The operator who fled police is described as a white male believed to be in his late teens to early 20s. He was wearing a black helmet with tinted face mask, a black motorcycle jacket with a white emblem on the back, and black Alpine boots.
Police weren’t focused as much on laws broken as they were on safety, as their post emphasized the dangers to the operator and others nearby that result from speeding on city streets. Anyone with information that helps identify the operator is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency number to talk with an officer…920-459-3333.
